New series beginning in the New Year- “THE I AM” STATEMENTS OF JESUS- Who is He? Who are we?- that is, When we focus on knowing the nature and character of Jesus Christ, we know more of who we are (and, more importantly, who we are NOT), and how much we need Him to fill the "God shaped vacuum" in our lives! WE ARE INCOMPLETE WITHOUT HIM! As we know who He is, we "Lay an axe to the Roots" of enslaving habits, attitudes and sins that have kept us in bondage in our lives. God's plan for us is complete and total FREEDOM! (see Matthew 3:10- "And the ax is laid at the root of the trees; every tree therefore that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.”)
January 9, 2011- “I AM [We need the once source of true freedom-HIM!]

January 30, 2011- I am the Christ, the Son of the Blessed One [Laying an ax to the roots of REBELLION!]
Mark 14:61-62- “… The High Priest asked Him, ‘Are you the Christ the Son of the Blessed One?’ And Jesus said, I AM.’”
February 6, 2011- I am the first and the last [Laying an ax to the roots of FEAR!]
Revelation 1:17-18- "And Jesus laid his right hand upon me, saying, "Fear not; I AM the first and the last, and the living one; and I was dead and behold I am alive forevermore, and I have the keys of death and Hades.’”
February 13, 2011- I am the one (who is lifted up) [Laying an ax to the roots of BITTERNESS!]
